I’m Craig Whitehead, Director, Founder, and Interior Design Principal of CKW Lifestyle Associates.

With over three decades in the design industry, my work is guided by a belief in ethical practice, longevity, and spaces that genuinely support the way people live. I’ve never been interested in design for the sake of spectacle. For me, good design is honest, considered, and rooted in function, quality, and emotional connection.
 

At CKW, our philosophy is design distilled for living. Every project begins with understanding people—their routines, aspirations, and how they move through their spaces. I believe form must always follow function, and that true luxury lies not in excess, but in appropriateness. My work is informed by craftsmanship, history, and context, with a deep respect for materials that age well and pieces that tell a story.

Rather than imposing a signature style, I see my role as refining and elevating each client’s personal narrative into spaces that feel timeless, practical, and deeply personal. When clients return to us years later as their lives evolve, that trust is the greatest measure of success—and the true signature of the CKW brand.
